Ben Marshall wins Leatherdale Prize for Clinical Teaching
Congratulations to Ben Marshall, recipient of the Leatherdale Prize for Clinical Teaching: Best in Southampton category.
The annual prize is named after Dr Brian Leatherdale, a Diabetic Physician at SUHT who retired in 2007. It is awarded to the person considered by students to be the best clinical course teacher and is restricted to NHS staff.
Ben joined the Faculty of Medicine in 2006 and in addition to teaching students on both the BM4 and BM5 programmes, he is actively involved in post graduate training for the Wessex Deanery. He is the lead respiratory physician at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.
