A one day training event for all teachers of BM undergraduates
In response to GMC guidance on the importance of the doctor as role model, this day will offer an opportunity to:
- Explore the impact of role modelling and mentoring on student learning
- Reflect on organisational role models and the hidden curriculum
- Develop further self awareness and effectiveness as role models in clinical context
- Enhance mentoring skills to enable students reflective practice and self directive learning
