Assessment of Clinical Competence (ACC) - Training for BM teachers Event

A training event open to clinical teachers working with BM students.

Following an extensive review, the Faculty of Medicine has changed and updated the undergraduate mini-CEX and renamed it the Assessment of Clinical Competence (ACC)

Aims

This session is designed to give staff the opportunity to:

• Consider the theory behind clinical assessments
• Learn about the review of the undergraduate mini-CEX and how it has changed to the ACC
• Score an ACC assessment and compare scores with colleagues
• Practise giving specific and constructive feedback to students following an ACC

Methods

The session will involve a participatory and interactive approach to learning.
