A 4 day course open to all teachers of Southampton medical undergraduates - clinicians, scientists and others.
Aims
To offer staff who teach medical undergraduates opportunities to:
- Develop their teaching roles
- Explore the BM Curriculum
- Consider a range of learning and teaching theory
- Share teaching experience
Methods
The course adopts a participatory, interactive approach to teaching and learning. There are formal inputs, small group activities and opportunities for shared learning and micro-teaching.
Please note it is necessary to attend all 4 days.
Applicants
Priority will be given to applicants with major teaching roles and permanent positions within the region. Selection will also take into account the applicant’s specialty/subject area in order to ensure a mix on the course.
