The year started with an event on “Life as a GP“ exploring the career pathway, as well as ethical and clinical scenarios to consider as a GP, delivered by the University PMC team. This was very successful as the virtual platform has allowed medical students from across the country to be able to attend. They have also held events on lifestyle medicine, primary care research and GP as a FY2 rotation. All great insights for students who may be considering becoming a GP.https://www.southampton.ac.uk/meded/news/2021/05/13-promoting-primary-medical-care-through-the-southampton-gp-society.pageThu, 13 May 2021 00:00:00 +0100Preliminary observations of Interdisciplinary Near Peer Teaching (INPT) within neuroanatomical medical educationhttps://cdn.southampton.ac.ukhttps://www.southampton.ac.uk/meded/news/2021/02/25-preliminary-observations-of-interdisciplinary-near-peer-teaching.pageA research study collaboration between the Centre for Learning Anatomical Sciences (CLAS), the department of Psychology and Faculty of Medicine undergraduate students, has demonstrated the benefits of an INPT model when delivering practical based basic neuroanatomy content to psychology students.
