On this page you will find information about our general courses, which are open to everyone who teaches Southampton undergraduate medical students, including course aims, dates and venues. If you are a GP, you might also be interested in the PMC courses.
Please note, submitting an application does not guarantee a place on a course. Places will be allocated after short listing has taken place and we will then contact you to let you know whether or not you have been allocated a place.

All of our in-house courses carry CPD accreditation from the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom.
The General Medical Council (GMC) requires that we keep information about our Southampton undergraduate medical student teachers and assessors. By applying to utilise our training resources, and/or as someone undertaking the GMC recognition process, you understand that you fall within one of these groups. Therefore, we are required to keep records of certain elements of your data and any training that you undertake with us to meet our statutory obligation to the GMC.
