Dr Amy Whitehead
Senior Statistician

Dr Amy Whitehead is a Senior Statistician within Medicine at the University of Southampton.
I hold a joint position between the Southampton Clinical Trials Unit (SCTU) and the NIHR Research Design Service (RDS) South Central.
I spend the majority of my time helping researchers to apply for grant funding. Providing advice on both statistical and general aspects including, the design of a research project, the sample size calculation and analysis plan, finding funding and help with grant writing.
I am also the statistician on a wide variety of projects, including Phase I through to Phase III in both cancer and non-cancer clinical areas.
