Mr Caspian Priest is a research assistant at the Department of Psychiatry working on the MRC Abreast of Health study.

Prior to joining the Department of Psychiatry, Caspian completed his undergraduate Psychology at the University of Southampton, before going on to complete a Masters in Research Methods of Psychology also at Southampton. His previous research was primarily concerned with computational models of eye movements, working alongside the Centre for Vision and Cognition in the Department of Psychology. He has also worked as the academic coordinator for Ophthalmology at Southampton Eye Unit, coordinating the teaching programmes for fourth year undergraduate medical students and junior doctors.
