Mrs Jackie Seely is a Patient and Public Involvement Office within Medicine at the University of Southampton

Jackie began her career in Science after graduating from the University College Dublin in 2000. She later returned to education and qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of East London. Jackie worked for a number of years as a Physiotherapist in the Primary Care setting before moving into research in 2009. Since then Jackie has worked as a Research Officer for the NIHR Primary Care Research Network and as part of that role was the Patient and Public Involvement lead before moving across to work as a Trial Coordinator at the University of Southampton.

In January 2017 Jackie joined the Patient and Public Involvement team at Primary Care and Population Science (PCPS) and is supported in her role by Dr Miriam Santer. Jackie facilitates and supports students and researchers with Patient and Public Involvement within PCPS. She works Tuesday and Wednesday and can be contacted at
