Southampton General Hospital Open Day

On Saturday 29th September from 11am - 3pm Southampton General Hospital are opening their doors to the public to showcase a wide variety of specialist departments. As well as providing key information, the day will include lots of fun activities for the whole family.
Southampton University's Faculty of Medicine, together with Cancer Research UK and the MRC will be taking part in the event. We would like to thank those who have volunteered to be involved in this exciting day by supporting some of the activities that we are organising. These activities will include health awareness activities, interactive laboratory experiments, lab tours and games.
Last year staff and students from the hospital felt a real sense of pride welcoming over 2,000 local people to the event. Here’s a link to a video clip of 2011’s event:
