PhD Student runner up in I'm a Scientist Get Me Out Of Here!

David Christensen, a PhD student in the Centre for Human Development, Stem Cells and Regeneration, was runner-up in the Stem Cells Zone of I’m A Scientist Get Me Out Of Here.
This online X factor-style science communication competition gives school students of all ages the opportunity to be the judges.
During the 2-week event, students from schools across the UK pose questions to scientists online and also participate in fast-paced live chats. Students vote for their favourite scientist and each day of the second week the scientist with the fewest votes is evicted.
The winning scientist was awarded £500 to communicate their work with the public.
