Academic Clinical Fellow wins grants to fund research in Chronic Rhinosinusitis.
Mr Tim Biggs, Academic Clinical Fellow in Otolaryngology, has won a number of research grants with his supervisors Mr Rami Salib and Dr Sylvia Pender.
These include: The Royal Society of Medicine’s Laryngology and Rhinology Equipment Grant, The Otorhinolaryngology Research Society Research Grant, Southampton University Faculty of Medicine Research Management Committee Grant, and the Rosetrees Trust Research Fund.
Tim is completing a PhD examining how bacteria contribute to the development of nasal polyps in patients with Chronic Rhinosinusitis.
