High profile for Southampton allergy at international congress

This week saw the Southampton Faculty of Medicine highly represented at the Annual European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology Congress held in Copenhagen, with over 8000 attendees.
More than 8,000 delegates from 100 different countries attended the 33rd edition of the annual congress of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) in Copenhagen (Denmark) from 7 - 11 of June. The attendees of the congress discussed new advances in the field of allergy, an illness that affects more than 150 million people in Europe, which makes it the most common chronic disease.
