Staff and students #WearingWhite for World Cancer Day

To celebrate the Centre for Cancer Immunology almost reaching its £25m fundraising target, the University is asking all staff and students to wear white on Thursday, 1 February, for World Cancer Day.

Help mark this incredible fundraising achievement and raise awareness about the world-leading Centre, by donning something white – either a full outfit or a simple accessory.

A group photoshoot is being held in the atrium of Building 37 (opposite the Sports Centre), at Highfield Campus, at 12.15pm. Come along and join in, or, if you can’t make it, share your own photo and share it on social media using #WearingWhite.

The best picture will win an exclusive pair of drumsticks signed by Coldplay drummer and campaign donor Will Champion (see here for details).

Also look out for our special Snapchat #WearingWhite filter at Highfield and University Hospital Southampton on 1 February.
