The University of Southampton’s award winning Science and Engineering Day will take place on 16 March 2013. Science and Engineering Day is a collection of fascinating exhibitions, interactive displays, talks and demonstrations at the Highfield Campus, University Road, Southampton. Bring the whole family to discover more!
Medicine will be hosting a range of activities in Garden Court. Discover how our scientists are working to kill cancer cells, what your muscles look like and how sensors in your body send information about the world to your brain. Find out about the importance of bacteria in our lives, and how your genes are decoded to make proteins. Learn about all the different imaging techniques available to our scientists and how these techniques help drive our research.
The event is free of charge. There is no need to book.
