2nd NIHR National Academic Paediatric Trainees study day Event

This event, whilst supported by the NIHR and primarily aimed at NIHR supported Paediatric Academic Trainees, is open to all academic trainees (including Academic FY2s and those OOP doing higher degrees) and any other trainees who are keen to be more involved with research. We have put together a varied programme covering all aspects of research and careers in academia, and have managed to get some excellent speakers involved. One of the highlights of the day will be a ‘career surgery’ held over lunch where trainees have the opportunity to book slots with senior academics and programme directors.

The event will be held in Winchester School of Art on 3 April, and will be followed the next day by the Spring Academic Paediatrics Association meeting will be in the same venue on 4 April.

The APA meeting will have sessions for trainees to present their work either orally or as posters, and trainees (or anybody) can submit an abstract by following this link:

The registration fee for each is event is £30 per day. Trainees attending both meetings can register for the reduced price of £50, saving £10.
