I was highly impressed with the knowledge, expertise, support and dedication of the faculty staff and lecturers.

I had been working as a Paediatric Consultant with specialist interest in Respiratory Medicine and started an allergy clinic in my hospital and felt I needed to increase my knowledge and keep abreast of the ever-changing advances in this exciting field of medicine. Once I decided to do an MSc in Allergy, I discussed the course with a colleague who had completed the same course and they recommended Southampton highly in terms of flexibility, organisation and value. I have not been disappointed.

It was always a pleasure driving down to attend my modules and each module left me wanting to learn more. I was highly impressed with the knowledge, expertise, support and dedication of the faculty staff and lecturers and enjoyed meeting other students and sharing experiences.

The facilities are up to date and modern, while the library staff were always very helpful. We had access to individual computers during research module and the allergy interactive online Blackboard was particularly well designed and effective. This helped my studies immensely.

I would describe my time at Southampton as brilliant – I was able to connect with experts, colleagues and other professionals in the field of allergy that continue to aspire me, and I have made lifelong friends and associates. I feel much more confident and knowledgeable now when treating my patients and passing on my expertise to the wider medical community.
