PhD Student Specialty Registrar in Public Health

Dr Emilia Holland is a Specialty Registrar in Public Health and is currently undertaking a PhD in the NIHR School of Primary Care Research.
Emilia studied Natural Sciences for her undergraduate degree and subsequently worked in the private sector where she developed an interest in information technology.
She then spent time working in a laboratory (HIV Research) before studying medicine at St George's, University of London.
After foundation training Emilia commenced GP training in 2010 before transferring to the Wessex Public Health training programme in 2012.
She is currently also the research manager for the MELD-B study.
