The Michael Arthur prize for best Research Publication by a Clinical Academic Trainee

Professor Michael Arthur has a long association with the University of Southampton, being one of the initial medical graduates. He was Head of the School of Medicine from 1998 to 2001 and Dean from 2001 to 2004. On leaving Southampton he became Vice Chancellor of Leeds University and subsequently Provost of UCL. Professor Arthur established the Michael Arthur Prize for Clinical Research Publication when he left Southampton.
