Professor Nicholas Clarke is Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon within Medicine at the University of Southampton.
Having been an orthopaedic consultant for over 20 years and specializing in paediatric orthopaedics, this has become the primary clinical and research focus. A co-founder of the International Hip Dysplasia Institute, member of council of the British Orthopaedic Association, member of several influential working groups, such as the National Coding Definitions and HRG Working Group and widely published in leading peer reviewed international journals. Giving lectures to an international audience by invitation including key note lectures at major conferences worldwide. Involved with both undergraduate and postgraduate medical teaching, as well as research and development within the University and the Trust.
