Mensus; Monitoring of Engineered and Natural Systems Using Sensors is a Interdisciplinary Research Group at the University of Southampton.

MENSUS welcomed over 150 people to the University at this showcase event; industry representatives, staff and PhD students on Tuesday 11th October 2016.

The morning session included an introductory address by our Vice president of Research and Enterprise, Mark Spearing and other speakers included representatives from KTN, Lloyds Register Foundation and the EPSRC, amongst others.

Feedback was extremely positive and has engendered new links and positive collaborations between the university and UK- industry in this important area of research.
