The University of Southampton's Monitoring of Engineered and Natural Systems Using Sensors group (MENSUS) is a new initiative focusing on system condition monitoring technology and applications. This event will be a stimulating opportunity to hear from industry, in the area of your research or work, and network with colleagues from inside and outside the University. Dr Ling Wang,Chair of MENSUS and Associate Professor in condition monitoring for tribological systems within Engineering and the Environment at the University of Southampton
Addy Backsteen,Honeywell Process Process Solutions,Addy Baksteen is the Global Marketing Leader for gas metering skids and station at Honeywell Process Solutions. He has been with the Elster gas metering group for over 16 years. In his previous roles he was product manager for Elsters Gas Quality metering portfolio and his focus in the last 4 years was on the Bio methane grid injection systems and metering solutions for power plants.
Mike Thackray,Honeywell Process Solutions,Mike Thackray is the lead technical product specialist for the Ultrasonic Custody Transfer Gas Meter product line at Honeywell Process Solutions (following its acquisition of Elster in 2015). Since joining the Elster-Instromet gas metering group in 2008, Mike has worked closely with operators, regulators and end users to develop and promote the adoption of condition based monitoring systems for Ultrasonic Gas Flowmeters. He is actively involved in the development of standards for custody transfer gas meters and sits on both the British Standards & ISO committees.
