Hearing Music TEAtime lecture

Ref: 10 October 2012

Composition for cochlear implantees (C4CI) project leaders, Ben Oliver and Rachel van Besouw, presented some of their research to ~80 students in the 'Technology and Communication' strand of the TEAtime lecture series at the University of Southampton.

The TEAtime lecture series is aimed at year 12/13 A-level (or equivalent) students, giving them the opportunity to learn more about the kind of research that is done at the University.

The 'Hearing Music' TEAtime lecture provided students with an insight into the multidisciplinary research that has developed between the Hearing and Balance Centre in the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research and the Department of Music in the Faculty of Humanities

The 'Hearing Music' TEAtime lecture was filmed and will be appearing on the TEAtime lecture series home page soon.
