Hans Schuppe biological imaging competition

Every year we run a biological imaging competition in memory of Dr. Hans Schuppe, who was committed to excellence in teaching and advancing optical imaging in Biological Sciences.

We accept any type of biological image, including zoological and botanical photographs, micrographs and x-ray scans.

There are cash prizes for the winners, and winning entries will frames and permanently displayed in our wonderful “Observatory” room in building 85.

You will also have a chance to meet one of our judges, the Emmy award winning David Barlow who has worked on biological imaging for celebrated productions such as Life on Earth, Horizon, Equinox, The Human Body and Extraordinary Animals In the Womb.
