Project title: Model of a Urinary System

David is a 4th year undergraduate studying for an MEng in Mechanical Engineering with Biomedical Engineering. He worked previously with part of the Bone & Joint Research group as part of his 3rd year individual project, studying how microbubbles could be used to deliver bone repairing drugs. He has a strong interest in how engineering can be applied to push the boundaries of medical technology and has now joined the Micro and Nano Therapies group for his Group Design Project, focusing on developing a working model of the urinary system to be used to test urological devices.
