Project Title: Targeting of microbubbles to bacterial biofilms to deliver antimicrobial treatments efficiently.

Elaine graduated from the University of Southampton with her BEng in Mechanical Engineering in 2017 and is currently studying for an MSc in Biomedical Engineering. Her MSc project aims to study targeting of microbubbles to bacterial biofilms to deliver antimicrobial treatments efficiently. She previously completed a research project on optimising high-resolution 3-D scanning electron microscopy of osteocytes, and hopes to pursue a research career in biomedical engineering in the future.
