Project Title: Vasculature-on-a-chip models to investigate the role of fluid dynamics in venous pathophysiology

I came to the UK around 4 years ago from Malaysia to pursue a degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Hull. Having graduated already in 2016, I decided to continue my studies straight away and applied for Masters at the University of Southampton. I wanted to remain in a similar field to my undergraduate studies but not do the completely same thing so I chose Biomedical Engineering. It has definitely been a challenge as I have learned and gained a lot of new knowledge, giving me insight on different sides of the biomedical sector and also obtaining new abilities such as programming skills.
