Shawn is a 3rd year undergraduate and will be finishing his MEng in Mechanical Engineering in 2021.  His individual project (IP) involved engineering microfoams to transport Nitric Oxide, putting forward a novel method to disperse bacteria within an extracellular matrix. During the summer, Shawn was part of a research internship where he was tasked with investigating pollution severity due to rapid urbanisation in cities using ANSYS FLUENT, as a tool for urban planning in the future.
