Please join us for the Lantern Festival Gala on the 19th of Feb (5.00pm to 6.30pm, Friday, 65/1173 Avenue Campus). The event is organised by Modern Languages graduate students with the support from Confucius Institute. Ying Fu, our very own Core Chinese teacher, will lead a workshop session on lantern DIY and paper cutting (Monkey is major theme this year!). Our ML PhD student, Yujing Lu, will lead a Chinese calligraphy practicing session. There are many more exciting performances and activities (see the poster below for details). More importantly, we would like to bring our MA international students together with the learners of Chinese in ML to form a language buddy circle, i.e., 'I help you with your Chinese and you help me with my English please'! Family and friends, all welcome!
