Mr. Ziyad Alsaleh is a PhD candidate within the Modern Languages and Linguistics department at the University of Southampton, Faculty of Humanities. He researches language learning in digital games.

Mr. Alsaleh taught English in EFL settings to secondary school students for the Ministry of Education at Saudi Arabia, college level students at King Saud University, and English for specific purposes to military students for DynCorp International.

During his scholarship to receive an M.A. in Findlay, OH. Mr. Alsaleh taught English in ESL settings to international students at the University of Findlay.

Research interests

eLearning, Gamification, CALL, MALL, digital game based language learning.
