Fisher Nominated for Best Score Award

Lecturer in Composition Dr Andrew Fisher has been nominated for a Best Score award at the DV (Digital -Video) Festival in Hollywood, for the music that he co-composed (with Steven W. Parsons) for the independent film Journal of a Contract Killer . The film has been nominated for four further awards at the DV Festival; it also won Best Film and Best Actress awards at the recent New York Independent film festival in February 2008, and was nominated for Best Film in the Milan Independent Film festival.
