Brabant Ensemble Disc of the Week
The Brabant Ensemble's latest CD, directed by Southampton Lecturer Stephen Rice, was awarded Disc of the Week on the BBC Radio 3 CD Review programme on 29 September.
The disc features a Mass setting and motets by the French composer Jean Mouton (bef. 1459-1522), and was reviewed alongside another recording of the same composer by the Tallis Scholars. Presenter Andrew MacGregor recommended purchasing both discs.
