Britten 100 - Building a Library
Music's contributions to the celebration of Benjamin Britten's centenary year continue with a broadcast of BBC Radio 3's 'Building A Library' devoted to the composer's works.
Professor of Performance and Head of Keyboard David Owen Norris will record the programme live at the Barbican's three-day Britten extravaganza, Illuminating Britten which takes place on the weekend of 8-10 November. On 10 November at 2:20 pm in the Milton Court Hall, Norris will compare and contrast the different recordings and films of Britten's most famous opera, Peter Grimes - with help from the Barbican audience for the event.
