Presented by Fidelis Chorale with musicians and soloists from the University of Southampton
Fidelis Chorale will be performing Byrd’s ‘Mass for Four Voices’ and Purcell’s ‘Come Ye Sons of Art’ in an Evening of early music at St Michaels Church, Southampton. This choir of second-year undergraduate Music students will be accompanied by an early music orchestra consisting of students and staff from the Music Department, including lutenist Elizabeth Kenny, cellist Joe Crouch and oboist Andrew Knights. The performance will also feature student soloists, including members of Cantores Michaelis, and will be directed by second-year Music students Alex Fryer and Nicholas Bromilow.
Tickets available on the door. Suggested donation of £5 adult / £2 student. All proceeds to ‘The Friends of St Michael's’.
