Part of the Composition Workshop series.

Hot on the heels of their latest Wigmore Hall performance the Calefax Reed Quintet will visit the Turner Sims for a workshop with student composers from the University of Southampton on 5th February 2013. Calefax were established over twenty five years ago and are in great demand throughout the world, not least because of their unique instrumentation of oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bass clarinet and bassoon.

Works by Clarice Goff, Christopher Evans, Ben Jameson and Catherine Waithe-Arnold will be rehearsed and recorded by the quintet.
