Members of the University of Southampton New Music Ensemble perform with London Sinfonietta

Six members of the University of Southampton New Music Ensemble will join the London Sinfonietta for a performance of Terry Riley's seminal work In C at the Turner Sims on Thursday 28 February 2013. Clarice Goff, bass clarinet; Marios Stylianou, trombone; Ben Jameson, electric guitar; Eliot Curtis, drums; Joe Manghan, vibraphone; and Christopher Evans, piano will play along members of the Sinfonietta following a workshop with John Orford, bassoon and David Hockings, percussion.

The rest of the programme, Repeating Patterns: The Start of US Minimalism, features early works by Steve Reich and Philip Glass.
