Presented by Dr. Ingrid Barancoski
Pianist Ingrid Barancoski will talk about her research topic, which is the correspondence between the Brazilian composer Almeida Prado and the French teacher Nadia Boulanger. These documents reveal new features of these complex personalities and their musical work. Dr. Barancoski will also perform some of Prado's pieces for piano solo.
This lecture-recital will be followed by a wine reception in the Arlott Bar 5.30pm-6.30pm.
