This summer, a series of free gigs, performances and family activities will be hosted right at the heart of the Cultural Quarter; Guildhall Square, and SHOWCASE are excited to be hosting two events in the programme!
Artworks commissioned by John Hansard Gallery will be located in the Square throughout the summer, including a newly commission circular pavilion with stage and seating designed by artist Markus Bergström. This pavilion will host the Summer in the City programme of events, encompassing live bands, DJ sets, theatre performances, brass bands and loads more.
On Friday 11 August, SHOWCASE hosts Jazzmanix, the University of Southampton’s pop, gospel and acapella choir, who will be performing a selection of their favourite and popular songs (find out more at

).
