MMus performer, Claire Horacek, presents a selection of music for the viola da gamba in the 18th century.

Viola da gamba player, Claire Horacek, will be joined by harpsichordist Laurence Cummings for sonatas by C. P. E. Bach, Baldassare Galuppi (recently published for the first time) and J. S. Bach, and will also be performing Komm, süßes Kreuz  from Bach's St. Matthew Passion with with baritone vocalist Andrew Randall. The concert will also feature one of Telemann's newly-discovered, unaccompanied Fantasias and characterful pieces by Marais.
