One of Britain’s most distinguished harpsichordists, Jane Chapman, presents a workshop exploring musical styles from Bach to Ligeti, including new works that push the boundaries and are establishing her “reputation as a rule-breaker”.
At the end of the session students are welcome to try the wonderful double manual Blanchet harpsichord, and keyboard and early music players are encouraged to sign up for short individual lessons with Jane throughout the year.
All first year students, along with MMus pianists and keyboard students from other years are strongly encouraged to attend this session.
