Valeria De Lucca

Dr Valeria De Lucca teaches music history at the University of Southampton. She loves opera and musical theatre and her teaching and research concentrate mostly on opera production during the seventeenth century (who paid for opera? Who could afford to attend it? What was the role of singers and impresarios in shaping the repertory of an opera house?) and musical theatre, with a particular emphasis on how musicals can lend us insights into questions of race, gender and class.

Drew Crawford

Dr Drew Crawford is a composer, producer, sound designer and songwriter with an international body of work spanning studio recordings and live performances as well as installation & sound design projects.
