Violinist Mira Benjamin presents an exciting programme featuring old and new works.

Solo works from the last decade by Linda Caitlin Smith, Amber Priestly and Cassandra Miller will feature alongside sonatas by baroque composers Elisabeth Claude Jacquet de la Guerre and Isabella Leonarda, for which Mira will be joined on harpsichord by Turner Sims Fellow Jane Chapman.

Mira Benjamin is a Canadian violinist, researcher and new-music instigator. Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, she lived for ten years in Montréal, where she was a member of Quatuor Bozzini. Since 2014 she has resided in London, where she regularly performs with ensembles such as Apartment House and Decibel, co-directs NU:NORD and is Lecturer in Performance at Goldsmiths, University of London.
