We’re looking forward to welcoming special guests to the John Ireland Prize: Professor Vince Emery, the generous donor of the prize, and David Wordsworth, the director of the John Ireland Trust.
Our guests, alongside Professor David Owen Norris alongside Professor

, will judge the competition, running for the third time by the Music Department at Southampton and due to include student performances of the celebrated twentieth-century English composer’s piano pieces and songs.
