The University of Southampton’s Music Department showcases the final performances of MMUS Music Students. Recitals will take place during the evenings from 16 – 19 September 2019 at either Turners Sims or The Brook. Admission is free and open to the public.

Programme: Love, Loss and Longing - A Song Recital
Geoffrey's recital will embrace the emotions of love both lost, rejected and found; loss of life and sight; and longing through hope and dreams. His programme will transport us across three centuries of music, to include Carissimi, Mozart, Schubert, Brahms, Bizet, Somervell and Ireland, and take us from baroque Italy to the English countryside via the romance of Vienna, the mystery of medieval Germany and the exoticism of Ceylon.
