Composition workshop: Bozzini String Quartet Event

We are delighted to welcome Quatuor Bozzini for a workshop with three of our composition PhD students who have written works especially for this occasion.

Formed in Montréal in 1999, Quatuor Bozzini is one of the most original voices in new, experimental and classical music and have premiered around five hundred pieces. Distinguished by their risk-taking and “extraordinary playing”, they have performed internationally at festivals and venues such as the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Now Hear this Festival (Canada), Ostrava Days (Czech), Transit Festival (Belgium), Gaudeamus Muziekweek (The Netherlands), Salon Tokyo and Time of Music (Finland).
