Event details

The Exquisite Corpse of AI (Consequences) is a collision of cutting-edge research into the nature of scientific discovery and nineteenth century parlour game. Featuring the networked compositional creativity of the Department’s Bella Barlow, Dan Mar-Molinero, Brona Martin, Benjamin Oliver and Drew Crawford and performed by Hannah Williams with a student ensemble and quadraphonic electronic diffusion, this hybrid performance will also feature a Q&A with the creative team on their experimental process. The Exquisite Corpse has been commissioned by the Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Intelligence for Automated Investigations for Scientific Discovery Network, hosted by the University of Southampton, and will be presented at the opening night of their final conference. This special presentation as part of the UoSMusic Presents… series will be a chance to preview the performance and ask questions of the creative team in a special Q&A session. Our concerts are free but e-tickets should be pre-booked through the Turner Sims box office.
