Event details

Part of the Music Research Seminar series

Composer and performer Jennifer Walshe will talk about her philosophy of music theatre and the use of the visual, including physical actions and film, in her work. She will also talk about the application of tools from science and speculative fiction to musical subject matter, particularly in relation to her projects Grupat and the Historical Documents of the Avant-Garde. For these projects, Walshe has created parallel worlds where she operates as a number of different alter egos.

Reception to follow in the Arlott Bar.
