We are delighted to welcome percussionist George Barton, pianist Siwan Rhys and composer Joanna Bailie for this Hartley Residency, which also serves as and our annual graduate composition Get Together. Specialising in contemporary music, the Barton/Rhys duo has given recent performances at BBC R3 Open Ear, Warwick Arts Centre and a series of concerts at St John's Smith Square. Berlin based Joanna Bailie is a leading figure within the international New Music scene, with recent commissions for Klangforum Wien, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Quatuor Diotima.
