SALAMI (Structural Analysis of Large Amounts of Music Information) is a collaborative music information retrieval project involving the University of Southampton, McGill University (Canada), and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (USA).

Our role (funded by JISC) is to collect 'ground truth' data ('model' music analyses encoded in machine-readable form) that will be used to calibrate the algorithms employed for computational analysis of hundreds of hours of music audio recordings.
