Dr Md Hakim Ali has received PhD in the area of Finance and Banking, his doctoral research addresses how cybersecurity hazards increase banking operational risks in a technology-driven financial system and destabilise the global financial sector.
One of his current research projects focuses on regulatory technology to gain sustainable technology in new generations of the digitalized economy. The induction of regulatory technology carries profound importance as it can potentially reduce operational risk, minimise cyber risk, and enhance banking stability.
Dr Hakim studied his PhD at Taylor’s University. He did MSc from INCEIF and Undergraduate from the University of Rajshahi. His teaching portfolio over the last five years includes finance, accounting and economics courses.
His research articles published in well-ranked journals i.e. International Review of Financial Analysis, International Journal of Finance and Economics, Economic Modelling, Australian Economic Papers, Risk Management, Managerial Finance, Studies in Economics and Finance among others.
